Here is a selection of some frequently asked questions about Hotel d'Angleterre for your convenience.

What changes have you made during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Ensuring the health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is our most important priority. Please visit our Covid-19 FAQs page for a detailed explanation.

What is the check-in time?
Our rooms are available for check-in after 3pm. In case of early arrival, please let us know and we will endeavour to do our very best to have the room ready before 3pm. Should you wish to guarantee an early check-in, please consider extending the reservation to include the night prior to arrival for an additional night's charge.  

Alternatively, we will be happy to register your arrival and store luggage until your room is ready. The reservation is guaranteed for late arrival.

What time is checkout?
Checkout time on the day of departure is 12 noon. Departures after this time are subject to a supplementary charge.

What is your cancellation policy, should I wish to cancel my reservation?
Depending on the package you have reserved, our normal cancellation policy for flexible rates can be cancelled 24-hours prior to your arrival date (by 2pm UK time) free of charge.

Any cancellations made after this time, or in case of a no show; full charges will apply. If you have reserved a promotional rate based on our advance purchase rates; the package is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

What is your smoking policy?
We have both non-smoking or smoking rooms, which you can reserve without an additional fee. Please let us know during the reservation your preference.

Do you have parking available? 
Our valet will be happy to take care of your car when you arrive. The fee is CHF 45 per night. The parking is underground and secure, with a maximum high of 1.9 metres.

Can I exchange money at the hotel?
Yes, directly at the reception desk.

Do you operate a laundry service?
Yes, we have a 7-day laundry service. Information on the service is explained in each bedroom with a laundry card to complete. 

I have dietary restrictions/allergies, can I make you aware of these in advance?
Yes, please do. We would like to receive as much information as possible before your stay. Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions or allergies at resa@rchmail.com or telephone the hotel directly.

Do you have a gym on-site?
We do not have an on-site fitness centre. However, you will be able to access the fitness centre next door to us (50 meters) with all the last technology. Facilities include: bodybuilding, free weights, cardio, group lessons, cross-training, personal training (additional cost), sauna, hammam, restroom

Opening hours: 
Monday - Friday: 7am until 9.30pm
Saturday - Sunday (and bank holidays): 9am until 5pm
