From the 4th of February
This February, the Six Nations tournament takes its place in the sporting calendar once again. Renowned as ‘the gentleman’s game’, there is no better place to enjoy a game than amidst the traditional charm of the capital. Commencing once again on the 19th of January, Battersea Power Stations’ Light Festival is returning as the largest collection of installations to date. Eight exceptional pieces of artwork will illuminate the Grade II listed and only recently re-opened building, showcasing artists such as Atelier Haute Cuisine, Studio Vertigo, and Mads Vegas. After absorbing the tapestry of artwork, head into the Power Station and enjoy the choice of dining venues and retailers or ascend the original chimney at Lift 109 for some breathtaking views of the city skyline.
Immerse yourselves in a seventies haven and ABBA wonderland at the hit musical, ‘Mamma Mia!’. Returning for its twenty-first year, the Imagine Children’s Festival is the perfect event for families visiting London this February. Over 100 events and activities are on offer, including a modern retelling of ‘Rapunzel’ by BalletLORENT, as well as an eclectic mix of children’s theatre, comedy, music, and dance.
