Dear valued guest,
As we continue to face the global challenge of responding to COVID-19, we remain focused on caring for the health, security and wellbeing of our guests and employees, and continue to operate our hotels with both our head and our heart during these difficult times.
We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (Covid-19) developments and will continue to prioritise the safety of our guests and employees. We are aware of the latest travel advice issued by government agencies and are monitoring all updates issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC).
At present, we are in the process of re-opening some of our hotels. We will continue to follow government advice and re-open our hotels as soon as we are able to do so.
For guests who have booked a pre-pay rate and are due to stay between 13th March and 31st December 2020, you will have the option to amend your booking from 12 months from your planned arrival date.
As a hospitality business, we take our role very seriously and we have always employed stringent safety and sanitation protocols and we will continue to do so (with special measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19). We have also implemented CleanCoat A/S into our UK hotels, this is the first solution of its kind and offers long-term protection by purifying the air and rendering treated surfaces self-disinfecting in an odour-less, chemical free and sustainable way, decomposing microbes such as bacteria and viruses, including the coronavirus family.
As a company we remain united when it comes to appreciating the reality of the situation, but also in the hope we have for the future. We are doing everything we possibly can to ensure the health and safety of our hotels during this time and will continue to closely monitor and follow the guidance of relevant organisations and officials.
Our thoughts are with all of our guests, teams, partners and suppliers and their loved ones during these uncertain times, and we look forward to warmly welcoming you all back to Red Carnation Hotels soon.
With kind regards,
Ensuring the health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is our priority.

We are following the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC). In the short term our staff will be asked to wear protective masks, we will ensure there is space to accommodate physical distancing and where we feel we need to make changes to the guest experience, we can assure you our level of service and the generous hospitality for which we are renowned will remain.
We have introduced enhanced hygiene protocols – for you, our other guests and our team members. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
