The World Spa Awards serves to celebrate and reward excellence in spa and wellness tourism through their annual awards programme. This is the 7th annual celebration of the World Spa Awards with Xigera Safari Lodge being awarded Botswana’s Best Safari Spa and Ashford Castle awarded Ireland's Best Hotel Spa.

At Xigera Safari Lodge your hours at the Spa will leave you feeling revived, refreshed and rejuvenated, with signature B|Africa spa treatments, complemented by an exclusive collection by Tata Harper, creating holistic spa rituals that offer a multi-sensory escape for guests.

In addition to the Spa, Xigera offer an extensive wellness programme, featuring international guest experts and pioneers in the fields of mindfulness, wellness and holistic healing, channelling the natural healing powers of the wilderness.

The lodge showcases a modern fitness centre – with state-of-the-art equipment from Technogym – alongside a swimming pool with a stunning relaxation deck gazing over the river.

At Ashford Castle, the Spa has won Ireland’s Best Hotel Spa for the 6th year in a row and was also voted 'Best in Sustainability' in the 2019 Irish Tatler Awards.

The Spa offers remarkable state-of-the-art facilities which include five exceptional treatment rooms, an invigorating Hammam, relaxing steam room and a beautiful terrace area with serene views over the tranquil waters of one of Ireland’s largest lakes.

There is also a Salon, which is perfect to book after your spa experience, with services for wash and blowouts, wash and blow-drys and up-styling, as well as treatment mask therapy for conditioning the scalp and hair. All hair services can be personalised to suit your needs and can be included with any service.
