How long has Ellen worked at Summer Lodge?

Ellen has worked here for 39 years, and in her time she has worked across many departments. When first joining Summer Lodge, Ellen first worked in the kitchen before moving into housekeeping. She found her true passion when she joined the Food & Beverage department and has spent the last 25 years here working in our celebrated restaurant.

How has Ellen influenced life at Summer Lodge over the last near 40 years?

Ellen’s warm and caring personality has made her a valuable member of Summer Lodge team, loved by both the rest of the team and our guests. Her constant care and attention to all our guests’ needs and desires never goes unnoticed, particularly when sharing her abundance of local knowledge at breakfast. By offering local recommendations and tales of the surrounding area, Ellen is a keystone in developing the excellent guest experiences and positive feedback that we so often receive at Summer Lodge. She also works tirelessly to ensure that the entire team feel welcomed and supported throughout their time here.
