Shaba, a film by Ami Vitale, is the story of the life and legacy of Shaba, an orphaned elephant rescued by the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, who later went on to be its first-ever matriarch. Your ticket purchase to watch the film will directly support the elephants of the sanctuary, as well as their keepers, who were originally the first Indigenous female elephant keepers in all of Africa.
