What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Any day that has fulfilling activities.
What is your greatest fear?
Waking up in the morning and realizing my kids are all grown up, and somehow I missed it.
Which living person do you most admire?
Jane Fonda - I am a huge fan of her personal journey from a young actress to a revolutionary political activist and environmentalist.
What historical figure do you most identify with?
Esmeralda Arboleda Cadavid - one of the first women appointed to a national legislative position in Colombia. The first woman ambassador, an advocate for woman suffrage. A real pioneer in the political world in Colombia – I am too humble to identify with her but she has always been a true inspiration.
Who are your heroes in real life?
Honestly some of those ordinary people that do extraordinary things. The other day when I was in Colombia a guy threw himself into the ocean to save another guy from drowning, It moved me.
What is your greatest extravagance?
My bejewelled headband that I just use for my skincare routine.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
The word 'super' to emphasise everything I say
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
My three children; Hunter, Grace and Tata Mia.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Being very organized.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My Tata Harper Skincare Formulas.
What is your favourite journey?
My antiquing journeys.
What is your greatest regret?
A tattoo that I got when I was a teenager and that now I hate.
What is your most treasured possession?
My farm in Vermont. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to have an idyllic space.
Where would you like to live?
Aspen, this beautiful mountain oasis is perfect year-round for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, arts and culture.
What is your favourite occupation?
Redecorating my house, moving furniture around endlessly.
When and where were you happiest?
Drinking coconut water in our beach house in Colombia.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be a professional salsa dancer
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
When I was a teenager, I took myself too seriously, I would have liked to enjoy those years more.
What is your motto?
Love yourself, love the planet.
