Known as London’s most intimate setting, our former Chapel at the Milestone Hotel & Residences, Kensington unveils a new dining experience. Collaborating with British tableware brand, Maison Margaux, guests will be able to transform the space with a bespoke tablescaping service and custom floral arrangements. Our Executive Chef, Daniel Putz, will be on hand to help guests curate their own menu and the in-house florist, Pascal Lavorel, will provide in-season displays. Whether for a romantic table for two, a family dinner, or a group celebration, the Chapel - which seats up to 8 people - is the ideal private dining destination in London. Once the Chapel of the original Milestone house in the Victorian era, the room is steeped in history with original marble checkerboard floors, Victorian tiling, ornate vaulted ceilings, and exquisite original artwork. Renowned as London’s smallest wedding venue, the elegant room is fully licensed and available to hire for an intimate wedding ceremony, as well as the Breakfast celebration – a popular option for the continued micro-wedding trend. Tablescaping by Maison Margaux Launching this month (March 2023), guests will have exclusive access to Maison Margaux’s rental service – available through our events team who will coordinate everything with Chef Daniel, Pascal Lavorel and Maison Margaux. Described by Vogue as “the runway of tablescapes”, luxury British homeware brand Maison Margaux offers clients the opportunity to rent tablescape looks, letting them create their dream table design with the latest on-trend, exquisite pieces. Choosing from curated settings recommended by the Maison Margaux team, guests can decide on their preferred tablecloth style, napkins and crockery, all of which is available in a wide array of colours, designs, and textures. Floral displays and a bridal bouquet Perfectly complementing the tablescaping design, guests can work with our in-house florist at The Milestone, Pascal Lavorel, to create a beautiful floral display for the table. After choosing their favourite flowers, Pascal will deliver a curated bouquet to finish the design. Each bouquet can be wrapped up and taken away to be enjoyed at home for the days following the special event. From pale red roses to pair with Maison Margaux’s Pomegranate look and Oscar de la Renta tableware; bright tulips to go with terracotta-coloured linen and a lattice plate set; or white hydrangeas to partner with a green and timeless leaf print, Pascal will ensure the blooms work elegantly with the chosen table setting. Personalised menus Guests will have the opportunity to develop their preferred menu for their private dining event, working alongside Chef Daniel and the our events team to create the ideal menu to suit each event and taste. Serving modern British dishes, Chef Daniel and his team balance creativity with a collection of traditional comfort foods, organic and wherever possible, locally sourced.
